I put off purchasing some DiamondCore tools, mostly because of the price. Truly I wanted them badly, so when a sale was advertised, I took the opportunity to purchase the 3-piece Starter Carving Set and the Fine Point 3piece set. I wished I had done so a long time ago. That old saying….”you get what you pay for” couldn’t be more accurate! My tool box has a mish-mosh of instruments and tools that I have used, but now I feel professional. The detailed work I can do with accuracy and repeating the process using all the tools is remarkable. The turtle I made is actually a night light for my favorite grandson. It still needs a top wash glaze but the the underglaze really brings out the details of tools.

The trimming tools are very well built, and feel nice and sturdy in your hand. They're so sharp compared to my cheapo set that it took me a few tries to get used to them, but once I did, I didn't put them down.

The sticky pad works as it should, allowing me to easily trim a jar lid with just a tiny bit of pressure.

The sponge felt super hard at first, so I was worried, but once it softened up with a little water, it was like a cloud.

These pads add to the heavier grit I was using. The 200 and 400 really give me a smooth bottom!

I am updating some old old stuff, Mult-Tools being one. Since I travel back and forth with my tools a lot, I really like the idea that these will fold down. I have stuck my self many a time and I thought this was a really great idea.

I have been wanting to do some carving so I have been watching a lot of videos, especially DC'c. I saw the P1 demonstrated and I really like it so I thought I would try it. I just got it, but I am at my sisters and I don't have any clay :(

I'm not looking for the big diamond disks, I already have those with my JoolTool. But a really good small file has been on my wish list for ever and I found it at DC. I often have those pesky little tips from stilts that need something small and just a quick hit and it is taken care of. This is what I have been looking for.

I'm a sponge junkie. I have just about every kind of sponge you can think of and then some. So I just have to try DC's sponges. Got my first ones. I'm at my sister's house so all I could do was wet it, but I like what I feel.

I have been replacing some old tools and decided to replace them with DC's. There tools are more costly, no doubt about it so I want to talk really good care of my investment. So I decided to keep them in these individual storage containers. I'm not a full time potter so it should work well for me and these will last me the rest of my life.

The charts that DC has created are wonderful references for their tools. You should get them to keep handy to refer to.

This is a great idea. When looking at new tools sometimes it is difficult to visualize the actual cut. This chart shows you exactly what you are getting and it makes a great reference.

I recommend it for many uses. We use different hardness for bisque ware and fired stoneware. They last for a long time. My only complaint is that they don't make it in a bigger size. But other than that a 5 star review! Oh and the service from diamond core team was as always amazing!

I’m still finding my way with this tool (working on controlling the depth of my carvings), but I absolutely love it! The blade is sharp and cuts thru clay like butter. So excited to grow my diamond core collection!
