I don't have to use a grinder often but the wheel head disc make things really easy. Just wish it could be raised about 1/2 inch off the wheel head to grind under my mug handles
without hitting the wheel head. It really worked though and saved 8 mugs from the trash!

Makes sanding easy peasy. Clean water and a sponge and my bottoms are silky smooth.

I absolutely love love love this grinding bat! The bottoms of my pots have never been smoother. I had a few runs & it took no time to get them refreshed!

Nice having a cool grinding disc to make my pottery nice and smooth!

I got this thinking I could level out some of my wobbly bottoms, but because the grinding disc itself isn't completely flat once it's on my wheel this was hard to accomplish. It did improve the bottoms of a few so less wobbly than they were. I think it will be best used for cleaning off my bottoms from excess glaze when needed or other random irregularities that occur but not great for leveling the whole bottom at once.

I absolutely love my sanding bats! They make each of my pieces so smooth and buttery soft that I no longer have to worry about my pieces scratching the surfaces they are placed on! I used to spend so much time sanding and now it is so much quicker. I love to layer glazes and sometimes that means drips sticking to the shelf for clay cookie. Now with my sanding bats I am able to salvage those pieces! It is amazing and I can’t recommend this product enough!

I'm new to pottery but I know enough to know that this grinding bat is amazing. All it took was sanding one load of bisque ware by hand to know I needed a better way. This is such a time saver. Thanks so much!

I had a cup that I had tried to clean the glaze off the bottom with a grinding wheel. It was slowly coming off. But it was going to taking forever. When I used this grinding bat, it was took a bit of work, but it did come off and I didn’t have flying chunks of glaze. It also took the glaze off in an even manner. Definitely worth having one of these around.

I absolutely love this grinder disc. I have two and use them when I need them. They work so well.

This grinds off glaze runs and levels fired pottery quickly and easily. I was previously using a stand up grinding wheel, (which was very frustrating) for leveling any fired work that wouldn't sit flat. This grinding wheel did the job in only a few minutes!

Worth every penny. I was able to smooth out 10 pieces in less than 2 minutes fast and effortless.

I had a VERY wonky bottom on a 6” diameter bowl. I cut it off the bat wonky but thought I fixed it in trimming. Guess not. To the rescue the 8” Diamond Core 120 grit grinding pad! It works fabulously with my white 630 clay. Make sure to use water as instructed.

This is a great set of grinding bats. Literally cuts your work in half and looks wonderful.

I use porcelain clay so the 120 grit is perfect for leveling mug bottoms and smoothing them out. It takes less than a minute per mug, and then I go in with a 400 grit flex pad afterwards to finish. I get so many complements about my smooth mug bottoms from my customers!

Until I found Diamondcore Tools, I used to shop a lot of hardware stores and automotive stores trying to find what I needed to fix my problems . You guys have made it so easy, being a pottery shop as well the tool guys to fix our problems. I love the sanding disc! Makes life so much easier when I don’t have to completely trash a piece because of the glaze running. Using a grinding wheel sometimes makes the whole chunk come off. That just ruined the piece. Easy to mount on the wheel with bat-pins, either 9” or 10” pin spacing, and switching bats to change grit is simple. At fastest wheel speed, and a copious amount of water to eliminate clogging of the diamond grits, these grinder bats truly do a wonderful job of flattening a bottom, rounding bottom edges, or cutting away glaze drips. Cleanup is easy with water and a stiff bristle brush. I am so impressed with their function !!! Thank you Diamond Core for having these 👍
