DiamondCore Tools’ Core Creators - December 2020
We are so excited to start the “Core Creators” series and show off some of the ceramic work that you, our talented, loyal customers, have created. In December, we saw everything from gorgeous floral designs that brightened our spirits to some great holiday-focused ceramic pieces — and everything in between. As per usual, our minds were blown by your unique designs and high-quality work.
Nesting Bowls
Danielle of @dwhighamceramics used our P9 Slim Reach U-Tip Carver to create the clean, rounded pattern in this unique textured nesting bowl set. We think the final set turned out amazing!
Floral Design
Check out this lovely detail work from @peachykeen.pottery with this gorgeous floral design. We can’t get over the pristine sgraffito detailing and precise movements. She makes all that detailing look like a breeze with our L1 Diamond Stylus Tool! So beautiful!
Christmas Trees
These Christmas trees were absolutely stunning and so festive for the holiday season. They’re the definition of merry and bright! Milissa and Eric Beale over at @beale_pottery created them using a variety of our pottery carving and trimming tools. We can’t wait to see what they continue to create throughout the new year.
Harry Potter
Any Harry Potter fans out there? We were blown away by this amazing Sorting Hat created by @atelier_gaia_ using our Diamond Stylus Tools. It makes us wish we were exploring Hogwarts. How about you? 100 points for Gryffindor for this beautiful creation!
Mountain Mug
Doesn’t an escape to the mountains sound just perfect right now? This mug will take you right there! We can almost feel the crisp mountain air and smell the pine trees. This picturesque mountainscape was created using our sgraffito tools and it looks amazing! Laura of @little.laura.pottery has us planning our next mountain vacation adventure. Bravo!
Snowflake Mug
Check out this gorgeous snowflake mug — perfect for the snowy winter season. Doesn’t it just make you want to curl up with a mug of hot chocolate and a good book? This freehand design was done by Tricia Cutler of @tcpottery with our P8 V-Tip Palm Carver. We love it!
Octopus
If you can’t tell, we’re all about the sgraffito detail work. We are in awe of this amazing octopus design (made with our L1 Diamond Stylus Tool) from Levanna of @le.ku.ceramics. So much attention to detail — and she made 6 of these plates! Amazing work!
Floral Design #2
This gorgeous plate is making us long for spring blooms. These tiger lilies are absolutely stunning. For the crisp background lines, Nancy Gallagher of @nancygallagherpottery is using our P2 U-Tip Carver. She called our tools “exceptional,” and we’d say the same about her work. So lovely!
We’re so appreciative that these amazing artists shared their work with us — and this is only the beginning! We hope 2021 is a year full of inspiration and new creations for all of you! Keep up the amazing work!
