The thick, white, rubbery material of the pad helps grip a pottery piece and adds extra stability, making your trimming process easier and resulting in a better-finished product. And while the Sticky Pad comes placed on the Speedball bat, it can easily be lifted off for cleaning then laid on the bat again or on another surface.
