How Our Trimming Tools Stand Above the Competition

Unlike other trimming tools on the market, DiamondCore® blades don’t dull. The blades on our trimming tools remain sharp until they’re worn completely through. This means that you can rely on your trimming tool to keep creating until the blade gives out. When that happens, grab the replacement blade with each tool and keep working!

Dull blades require a lot of force to remove material, and the cuts are never as sharp or precise as you desire. With our tools, you’ll feel like you’re using a fresh blade each time. You’ll cut through clay like butter.

Clay Trimming Tips and Tricks

If you haven’t used our DiamondCore® Tools before, they’ll feel very sharp. You’ll need to adjust the pressure you’ve used for other tools in the past.

  • Keep a firm and steady grip on the handle while letting the blade cut the clay

  • With practice, a large amount of material can be removed at once with a surprising amount of control

  • DiamondCore® trimming tools can be used at almost an angle — many of them are designed to be held at 70 to 90 degrees from the surface

Following these steps can help the blade to cut with even less resistance.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE TO SAY

“Really versatile and well-made. Endless uses. Will never run out of options.”

– Bonny, T Series Diamond Set

“My first DiamondCore trimming tool! I love it! I have trimmed 30 items with it. It is sharp, easy to use, and trims my pots and bowls super smooth. I love that one side is square and one side is rounded because I can switch it around and use each side depending on what I am doing. And it comes with an extra blade! Very good tool for the value!”

– Jenn, T1 Half Dome Pottery Trimming Tool w/ Paddle Handle

“I’ve used countless trimming tools and never found one I liked, let alone loved. Constantly replacing dull tools and losing pots to poorly made ones was extremely frustrating. I got this trimming tool after it launched almost two years ago, and I LOVE it! For the first time in my life, I don’t hate trimming. The blade lasted over a year and was super easy to change. The arc shape is perfect for trimming smooth edges and foot rings. I cannot recommend this tool enough!”

– Emily, T2 Arc Pottery Trimming Tool w/ Cone Shaped Stylus

“Talk about trimming being a walk in the park — if walking in parks were way more streamlined, effortless, and quicker than anticipated. Lol. Really comfortable to hold, and slices through the clay beautifully.”

– Ashley, T8 Wedge Pottery Trimming Tool w/ Flat Head Handle
