I LOVE these flexible diamond pads! It makes smoothing the bottoms of my pottery so effortless. The bottoms of my pots feel like marble after a few quick swipes. I use the 120 grit followed by the 800 grit.

Bought other sanding pads first and there's no comparison. Skip the cheap ones and invest in these. Quickly smooths out bases so they don't scratch surfaces and are pleasant to touch.

I cannot believe how smooth my raw clay becomes after going up the grades of this sanding pad. Also, the clay doesn't leave marks on my tables anymore!

Works wonderfully, excellent quality. Use with water whenever I can, no issues yet. I will likely be getting more grits.

These are wonderful for smoothing out the insides of rounded items. You can also get around the curves on the outside. I use them on all my bisque ware and then again after high firing. I always sand with a wet pad to cut down on dust.

I got this sanding pad on recommendation from the studio manger where I throw. I was working with reclaimed clay that had a lot of grog and was looking to smooth out my pieces. The sanding paper I was using was okay, but took a long time to get the smoothness I was looking for. When I got the pad I was impressed by how quickly I was able to achieve the same results in less time and with much less effort. I'll most likely be ordering a few more with other grit profiles to further refine my work. Highly recommend.

Game changer. Can refine any imperfections, remove wax and finish bottoms with this great little pad.

These pads add to the heavier grit I was using. The 200 and 400 really give me a smooth bottom!

I purchased the 120/200 grit pads for smoothing bottoms and extra glaze drips. Works with minimal effort. Not sure about longevity as I’ve only owned them a week but so far fantastic product!

These things are fantastic for taking down the rough edge on your pottery, even after they have been glazed! If there is a spot on the foot that could scratch furniture - use the diamond sanding pad. Something standing out on the lip edge of a mug - this tool is for you…

This pad polishes the bottom of my pots. Very easy to use and the bottoms are smooth as butter.

I love these sanding pads. This is my 3rd one. I have various grades. They make the bottom of my pieces super smooth. I love that they are flexible and can get into smaller crevices when needed.

It's been five years since I ordered my first sanding pad from Diamond Core Tools and I am as wowed by the smoothing level of this latest pad I got as I was with the first one I ever bought. They last quite a long time (at least a year per pad) for me and, at their size, are very handy to bring along to shows in case I missed a spot on a pot.
I've spread the word about these pads since then and even purchased them as gifts for my potter friends. I've bought all their iterations (rounded edges, square edges, semi-flex type, file sets, and most recently the sanding sheets) and will be buying them as long as I make pots. The quickness and level of smoothness I can get from half the effort as when I used to use regular sandpaper is amazing and has probably saved my wrists from repetitive motion syndrome. I highly recommend all Diamond Core Tools' smoothing tools!

I bought a new sanding pad in July and the sanding pad and sponge separated after one month. Communicated with Diamond Core and they promptly sent me a new one, but also told me that its best to wet the piece and NOT the sponge. Maybe that needs to be clearer so people dont have this problem?? Overall , I've used these types of pads for about 2 years and am very happy with them them.

These flexible diamond pads do an amazing job at smoothing off the bases of pots which I thought were already smooth enough. I went up to 400 grit. They feel like they'll last forever too! Very impressed.

This was a gift to someone who had used the product before but with a coarser grit. The recipient was very happy with the finer grit. According to her, it works extremely well. Good value for the money.
