DiamondCore® Tools Core Creators - July 2024

Editor’s note: We love seeing all the amazing things people create using DiamondCore® Tools. Your work inspires us — and we think it’ll inspire others, too! That’s why we started this blog series called Core Creators. We highlight stunning ceramic projects and designs created using our pottery tools that caught our eye on social media and beyond. Artists around the world have been using DiamondCore® Tools to create berry bowls, cowboy hats, bright glaze, and unique textures recently. Each artist continues to capture our attention as the ceramic designs showcase their own personal style and interests.

Take a look at what a few of those artists have been working on throughout July!

This garden-inspired sgraffito bowl, brought to life by @blink_pottery, beautifully captures summer staples . We love the layers of underglaze colors and textures of the flowers and fruit.

Caylee of KRO Pottery Design (@kropottery) may have struggled with this clay body, but these mugs turned out beautiful! We love the patterns and look forward to seeing how the rest turn out.

Megan (@meganbrownceramics) blew us away with this sgraffito poppy spoon rest created with our FP1 Fine Point U Tip 1 mm, our FP3 Fine Point U Tip 3 mm, and L1 Diamond Sgraffito Stylus Tool. We completely understand why they’re a market sellout — this is stunning!

We think the leaf mug looks gorgeous, Beth (@bethhardenceramics)! The glaze colors on this are beautiful — and perfect for summer. Our team can’t wait to see what it looks like when fired.

Our team could stare at this for hours — and not just because of the beautiful scenery. We love what you’ve been creating ceramics while on vacation, Nat (@pottery_nat). We hope you enjoyed the rest of your vacation!

Take a look at these inspiring glaze techniques by Rachel and Jamin of RBD Pottery (@rbdpottery). They used our FP4 Fine Point Javelin Carving Tool to carve intricate floral details into each mug.

Sanding isn’t glamorous, but it can be fun (and incredibly satisfying) with our Flexible Diamond Sanding Pads. The end results are looking smooth and beautiful, Angela (@angelawardart).

How cute is this flower bottom on this adorable vase? Linda of Two Wish Studio (@twowishstudio), used our X2 12mm U Fluting Tool to add this unique detail to this piece. We absolutely love it!

Watch as Ryan (@rdceramics) makes creating this stunning berry bowl look effortless. We love that our P10 Curved Wide U Tip 12mm Carving Tool and Trimming Tools could help you with this pottery project.

Share your latest projects with us, and don’t forget to tell us which DiamondCore® tools you reach for the most!
