6 Things You May Not Know About The CINK
If you’re ready to avoid clay and sediment clogs in your home or studio plumbing, The CINK is the answer you’ve been looking for.
What is The CINK?
The CINK is our innovative stand-alone, mobile clay water recycling system. It prevents clogged pipes and simplifies pottery tool cleanup while helping you conserve water. It’s time to revolutionize the way you work in your pottery studio.
Our team has compiled a list of benefits and tricks you may not know about The CINK Classic and Deluxe. Let’s dive in!
1. Self-Contained Water System
You may already know that The CINK doesn’t require any connection to your home, studio or classroom plumbing system. But it might not be as well-known that The CINK doesn’t require any hook-up to water of any kind — not even a water hose or spigot! Once the buckets of The CINK are filled with water appropriately, that’s ALL the water you’ll need until it’s time to clean or maintain your unit.
Not only does our unique setup keep clay and slip from getting into plumbing, but it also gives your versatility to where you place your CINK in your workspace. Your only location limitation is an electrical outlet to plug it in.
When it’s time to change the water in your CINK, simply unhook the connections to the buckets, gently pour the water off the top, remove the clay sediment, then refill the buckets with water and reconnect them to the CINK. Self-contained water circulation is good to go again.
2. Flexible Spray Nozzle
The flexible spray nozzle on The CINK offers unmatched versatility and precision in efficient pottery tool cleaning. With the ability to direct the spray, the innovative nozzle empowers you to tailor your cleaning routine to your needs.
Whether you're quickly cleaning one tool or cleaning a full collection of pottery tools, the flexible nozzle can direct water to a corner of the CINK basin or to a higher level within that basin, applying it precisely where it’s needed and making cleaning more efficient.
3. Quick-Release Connectors
Quick-release connectors increase convenience and efficiency in the pottery tool cleaning process. These quick-release connectors enable easy attachment and detachment of hoses on the collection buckets to the basin and filter.
Gone are the days of struggling with traditional twist fittings. With quick-release connectors, you can quickly disconnect the hoses and empty full buckets, and replace them again, saving valuable time and effort to create more ceramic pieces.
4. Multi-directional Wheels
Multi-directional wheels are a game-changer when it comes to using The CINK. Unlike traditional wheels that only move forward and backward, multidirectional wheels allow you to move The CINK in multiple directions, including sideways and diagonally.
This versatility makes The CINK ideal for tight spaces, small art and pottery classrooms, and large pottery studio spaces where you’re moving throughout the room to finalize your ceramic work.
Multi-directional wheels enhance efficiency and flexibility, enabling smoother navigation and improved functionality in any setting.
5. Restaurant-Quality Stainless Steel
Restaurant-quality stainless steel sets the standard for durability, cleanliness, and the overall aesthetic appeal for The CINK. Crafted from high-grade stainless steel — best known for its resistance to corrosion, staining, and rust — we chose this material to ensure longevity and performance.
Its non-porous surface prevents the absorption of odors and clay particles, facilitating easy cleaning and minimizing damage from water and pottery tools over time.
Beyond its practical benefits, stainless steel's beautiful finish adds a touch of sophistication to your pottery studio, reflecting DiamondCore’s commitment to excellence.
6. Operates on a Regular 110-115 Volt AC Electrical Outlet
Powered by a standard 110-115 Volt AC electrical outlet, The CINK brings convenience and accessibility to any setting. Whether in your home, pottery studio, or classroom, simply plug The CINK into a regular outlet to begin cleaning.
This feature eliminates the need for specialized electrical setups or adapters, ensuring seamless integration into your everyday routine and various spaces.
With compatibility across a wide range of power sources, you can enjoy the benefits of The CINK without the hassle of additional setup or configuration.
