Diamond grit pad 1.75″ x 2.75″ pad 
Semi-flexible foam-backed pad with diamond grit
1/2" foam-backing "workhorse" pad
(Price is each, and they are sold individually)    
  • 60  grit (coarse) for rough heavy clay or glaze
  • 120 grit (medium) general purpose
  • 200 grit (fine) for smoothing  

 USES

  • Smooth off high-fired clay, glaze, bisqueware
  • Also works on tile, stone or glass
  • Diamond grit work faster than sandpaper
  • Removing a sharp chipped edge
  • Fewer strokes and less force are required
  • Smoothing the foot, sides or rim of a ceramic piece

of course the sanding sides are classic DCT- strong, powerful, long lasting, and the semi flex of these pads is perfect, I love ALL their products, these are particularly useful

Semi-flexible is a misnomer

This pad is billed as semi-flexible. I found it to be quite rigid and was disappointed.

Hi Cat and thank you for your comments. We do have a more flexible pad if the A pad is not working for you. Take a look at the B pads which also come in a wider variety of grits. B1 = 60# all the way up to B6 = 1500#. They also come in rounded or square, 90 degree corner edges, your choice.

These are great!

These really start the job for sanding the bottom of my mugs. I then switch to the 400 and 800 grit flexible pads and bottoms are smooth smooth smooth!!
