Diamond sanding disk

I recently purchased a couple of diamond sanding disks to smooth and clean my recently poured slab. The disk did exactly what I was hoping for, without spending several hundreds of dollars for a machine that may or may not have worked. I'm very happy with the purchase and would buy again.

Lucky Me

I just purchased the three 8" diamond grinding disc set and am I happy! When I opened my kiln after glazing my pottery, I found that my "perfect" mug had two major drips making it impossible to sit flat. I got to work with my three grit discs and smoothed the bottom of the cup so that now it is that perfect piece I visualized. Happy, happy, joy, joy.

Great for Grinding Tungsten Carbide

I buy these for a metallurgical lab to grind Tungsten Carbide samples for analysis. These discs work very well.

Great save!

Two santas just barely stuck to the kiln shelf but as they came off they had very uneven bottoms. I used my new coarse and then medium grinding discs and salvaged both of them. Very happy with these disks because they are so easy to use and did such a great job.

sanding tool

This product is great! I have labored grinding with a hand held tool and find this disc a miracle. And the fact that it lasts a long time is such a money saver. I wish I had known about it sooner. I saw John the Potter using it and am so glad he passed the info on.

Worth waiting for...

I have used Diamond Core sanding pads to smooth the feet of my pots, especially those made with speckled clay. The sanding disc speeds up the job considerably and makes even the roughest clay table worthy.

Lifesaver

I use the 120 grit for my porcelain mugs and it has been the biggest lifesaver in evening out the bottoms so they don’t rock! After using this I go in with the 400 grit diamond flex pad. I get so many complements on my smooth mug bottoms from customers! This tool is a studio essential!

Works very well.

This product works great! My only complaint is if you buy it already mounted on a bat, they use one
of those hollow bats. Grinding on the hollow bat is loud.
