It’s March, which means it’s officially springtime! We’re seeing a lot of artists inspired by the changing of the seasons. Beautiful spring flowers and bold colors were featured in many amazing pieces this month. From large sculptural pieces to small mugs and detailed carvings, there were so many beautiful designs that caught our eye this month.
Let’s dive in.
How cute are these mini mugs? We’re absolutely loving the bold colors for spring. They’re perfect for slow mornings — sipping coffee on the porch and soaking in the spring vibes.. We hope you had a great time at NCECA, Beth (@bethhardenceramics)!
Check out these gorgeous candles and ceramic candle holders that Rachel (@rad_pottery) created! Every candle is so unique and fun. Too bad we can’t smell them through the screen!
This one deserves a big “Wow!” We love seeing the process behind this amazing sculptural piece that Leyla (@leylakhosrowshahi) created. Thanks for showing what our P2 Curved U Tip 6 mm Carving Tool can do!
More bright, spring-like colors for this eye-catching blue jar! Yes, please! This will make a great statement piece — totally worth the extra sanding effort, Alex (@alexbeckceramics).
These colors and this beautiful design scream “joy,” Andrea (@mama.warrior.creations). We love that you used our tools to carve all the beautiful floral details here. All your time and effort were well worth it for this beautiful piece! Great work.
Nothing says spring quite like beautiful flowers! We’re literally obsessed with these mugs — carved using our FP1 Fine Point U Tip 1 mm X 1 mm Carving Tool. Thanks for sharing these, Julie (@julieannceramics).
Pottery is full of endless inspiration — from nature and beyond. Check out these unique shell impressions from Alex (@alex.olson.arts). Alex used our Diamond sanding pads to smooth and refine the edges on the porcelain bowls. We can’t wait to see how this series turns out!
This dreamy wave pattern has us dreaming of our next beach day. We love that you’re embracing the imperfections here, Melanie (@swellceramics). They’re what make the piece special and unique! We think this bowl and croc set turned out amazing. Keep creating and having fun with it!
Wobbly Tree Pottery (@wobblytreepottery) is at it again with amazing detail carving work using our L1 Diamond Sgraffito Stylus Tool. Check out all the work that went into this stunning birch tree and owl. Whoever takes this mug home is in for a real treat!
We loved watching Ben (@ofwoodandclay) create this vase. All the smooth, crisp lines were carved using our P11 Curved Wide V Tip 12 mm Carving Tool! We definitely got a good chuckle when you used the French Press. Hey, you do what you gotta do, right? We appreciate you sharing!
