Recently I experienced a bad glaze dripping: one spot on a cup and 3 spots on a bowl. Badly. So I purchased these pads.
OMG! Cup is saved. Now I will work on the bowl.

Not that I sand every piece I make, but I do sand often. After one or two good sized pieces, a square of traditional sandpaper is toast. I can just give these blocks a quick rinse and they are good to go! I appreciate that I have a soft place to put my fingers for the duration of the task as well. Save yourself time and a trip to the hardware store and get this kit!

These work so well. They smooth the bottom of pottery quickly and efficiently. Very easy to use. They have completely leveled up my pottery game. I would recommend them to anyone.

As a handbuilder, who doesn't even own a wheel, these are the best way to smooth the bottom of all my pieces. I use them to smooth out the bisque, and then polish again after high firing.

I have only used the larger grit pad (so far) it gets the job done handily. These are a game changer when it comes to little sharp burs, etc.
