      Course grinding bat

I purchased the course and fine grinding bats when there was a sale, and I'll never regret the purchase. I do a lot of experimental glazing using pieces I hope to keep. Many of the combinations use glaze that floats, so many times I have excess glaze on the bottom that needs to be removed. The course grinding bat makes the removal effortless. I add water to the bat, always wear glasses, and warn fellow students I'll be making some noise. Many students have watched me do this, and always want to know where I got the bat. Kudos to DiamondCore for coming up with the ultimate solution.

      Best tool I own

Absolutely amazing tool! Bought the 120 full size as a good middle ground to start with and I’ve had it for a little over a year, have not noticed any wear and tear! I teach pottery classes and love using the tool so much I offer to grind the bottoms of students pots. Leaves a pretty smooth finish with the 120 grit, but am definitely going to buy the 240 in the future for an extra smooth finish! Love this product!

      12 inch grinding disc

I used this for the first time and love it. I had just taken a vase from the kiln, but it wasn't quite level and rocked a bit. It took me no time at all to make it level. I also had a flat bottom plate that I'd never used because it rocked too much. It took a bit longer to level it, but it sits flat on the table now. A bit of kiln wash stuck to the bottom of a mug was instantly removed. Would definitely recommend this.

      Very, very slow shipping

Ordered 7/5, shipped on 8/12, even though item was “in stock”

We apologize for the delay in shipping your order. Our summer sale exceeded expectations and order volume was quite heavy. We strive to provide prompt and efficient service to our customers, but we fell short in this instance. We will do our best to improve our shipping process and ensure faster delivery in the future. Thank you.

Works great to quickly rid glaze from the bottom pottery pieces one worked hard on. Dust is eliminated by wetting it.

Costs a pretty penny, but it is great quality… and still cheaper than a diamond ring!

      5 years strong

I’ve had the green one for 5 years and I throw some water on it and grind the bottom off and it’s soft as a babies bottom! I grind the bottom of every single pot and that is one of the things I tell all of my customers. It won’t scratch your countertops or your table tops and it is the best tool I have in my studio! Sometimes I even grind off drips and it is amazing! I’ve had it for 5+ years and I love it.

      FAN-F$*#@*!-TASTIC!

For quite a long time I've watched my peers use this Diamond Grinding Disc. I have a body of work that uses terra sigs, so I wasn't keen on using this product in the past because I didn't want to disrupt the sigged surface. Since I've been working in porcelain and stoneware along with my terra sigged body of work I've been using a Diamond Grinding Disc from Diamond Core Tools and it is incredible! So easy to use, makes the feet of my pieces extra smooth, grinds off alumina hydrate crud (I apply dry alumina hydrate to my kiln shelves rather than kiln wash, but this product would be fantastic for those pesky lil kiln shelf buggers that stick to the feet of pots as well), and it is honestly pretty damn fun to use. Thank you Diamond Core Tools!

      Beast mode activated

Wow. So I was slightly concerned how my earthenware wild clay would handle being ground with this, you know- all the bad scenarios ran through my head- but there was a wobble that needed fixing! 60 grit performed INCREDIBLY! It took all of 2 minutes no lie. I sat dumbfounded thinking of all the time I’ve wasted in the past…. NO MORE!
