This tool is nicely made and works as advertised. I wish it came in a slim plastic box or tube though. I want to keep it from getting bashed up by other tools. It is special.

I have owned this p1 carving tool for 4years now and I absolutely love it! I am still on the original blade and it glides like a dream through all my clay bodies. It is very precise and gives me a very clean finish each and every time! Thanks for making great tools !

I have been wanting to do some carving so I have been watching a lot of videos, especially DC'c. I saw the P1 demonstrated and I really like it so I thought I would try it. I just got it, but I am at my sisters and I don't have any clay :(

I've used it to carve super fine lines and as wide as the width of my pinky. It's so smooth to use!

Really impressed with these tools and how nice they are to use. The P1 cuts a clean smooth line through leather hard clay. I also like the ability to adjust the angle of the blade as I was slightly hitting the wood handle against the clay, but again that was an easy fix. So far I have been quite happy!

I love the quality of Dimond core tools. They are very comfortable in the hand which makes it a pleasure to work with. Very sharp. Excellent quality.

These are a little more expensive than the usual tools. But with good reason. Great craftsmanship in the engineering of this tool. Looks like it will last forever. It arrived just a few days after I ordered it and the packaging is awesome. I’ve even kept the box!

Love the sharpness of the blade. For older hands, I wish the shaft was a bigger diameter.

I carved “bear claw” marks into the two sides of a cereal bowl I am making for my husband. “Grizzly Hunter” is carved into the base. He’s a huge Alaska fan and hasn’t really hunted Grizzlies, but I think he will LOVE my gift. I am a new potter and barely know what I am doing, but this tool works beautifully with minimal effort on pretty dry clay.

Bought this item as an early Christmas gift for my wife and she was very happy to have it and able to use it right away.

I enjoyed using the P-1 curved cutting tool but after carving 5 leather hard mugs the blade split at the center crease. Not sure if this is the normal life of this blade or if I just received a faulty one.
